So at the pool I work we have started to enforce the double diaper rule (one reusable and one disposable swim diaper) for ALL children under 3 yrs. We have also started to clear the pool every few hours in hopes that people will be "smart" enough to take their children to the bathroom. We even have NO POOPING as one of our pool rules posted on several signs around the pool. All this is done with the high hopes that there will be no poop in the pool.
But our efforts are in vain because on almost a daily basis we have "accidents." And because of these so called "accidents" we have to close the pool for 8 hours. Now keep in mind this does make my guards really happy because they get to go home.. secretly it makes me happy because my pool is empty. It does not however make the public happy and I get to hear about it...in several choice words. As if it is my fault a random child used the pool as their toilet. :)
So to all those reading this -please don't poop in the pool........
