I usually keep the sappy in my head

So after a LONG night with a child who decided that it was is job in life to not sleep.. I was pretty frustrated and tired. After being on the verge of being ornery all day, Korbin changed my mood. While he was taking a bath he randomly said, "you look bu-tiful" to me. I love how no matter how crappy you feel or how much you wish you could still be in bed sleeping that one little comment or smile from your kid changes everything and puts it all into perspective. To make it even better Korbin has started to randomly say "luff you mom".

Having kids really is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I am so blessed to have such an awesome responsibility and I know I should'nt take it lightly. Never have I understood the statement of, enjoy what you have now bc soon it will be gone. It seems like yesterday that Korbin was small enough to be swaddled and now he is all grown up and asking to go to the "bafroom". Quinn is already changing before my eyes. I wish I could just press pause and stop them from getting older.

... done with the sappy.... of the two pics at the first .. which kid is which???

how did two months come so fast

Quinn is offically two months old- man where did the time go! i hate how fast time goes when you are thinking of your kids growing up. He is starting to smile more and more and i cant seem to get a decent picture of him-lanette help please- i got a few showing his many faces- his pout face is priceless and makes it incredibly hard to be annoyed at 3 in the morning when he is ready to eat again.
I started school last Monday. It was really good to be back in my classroom with my kids. I loved getting all the welcome back hugs from the kids. They were really cute. I was even informed that i didn't look pregnant anymore (thank goodness)
The boys started daycare. I think Korbin was excited he finally had some kids to play with. It was hard to not be with them, but at the same time i cant keep my sanity and stay at home. I need to be teaching for now. I am just glad we are able to send them to such a good place where i know they will be loved for a few hours while i am at work.
Korbin is progressively doing better at peeing in the toilet ( we are "potty training" him in the summer..but for now just letting him go when ever he asks..) he pooped in the toilet the other day and for anyone who knows my child knows that is a HUGE accomplishment:)..i have never been so proud.

Christmas

We had a good Christmas- we started out Christmas Eve morning with our own little one and then headed down to Cedar to surprise my family. Korbin was super fun to watch open all his presents.. and ours... I love that he is so into it and cant wait till he is just a little older and is even more excited :)
That was Korbin's First Christmas..hard to think he was that little..
